The Barcelona Facial Anatomy Lab Oculoplastic Surgical Skills Edition 2027 (BFAL )™️ is an intensive hands-on course using anatomical specimens from cryopreserved cadavers.
Aimed at and designed for medical specialists and residents in training who are interested in honing their skills in oculoplastic surgery (ophthalmologists, maxillofacial surgeons, plastic surgeons, otolaryngologists, and dermatologists).
The program consists of two days of training, with theoretical and practical sessions and hands-on training at the workbench. Each participant works under individual supervision, allowing for close, detailed, and completely personalized surgical guidance.
The course has a teaching team made up of surgeons from various specialtieswith extensive experience, active clinical practice, and national and international teaching experience.

FACIAL ANATOMY LAB FOCUSED ON REAL SURGICAL DECISIONS IN OCULOPLASTIC SURGERY
Training activity carried out in a university dissection room, in an academic setting, in accordance with current European regulations on body donation for teaching purposes and the bioethical principles applicable to medical training.

- The Barcelona Facial Anatomy Lab Oculoplastic Surgical Skills Edition 2027 (BFAL )™ is a continuing medical education program that will be submitted for accreditation by SEAFORMEC , which is part of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) and the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) .
- BFAL will be submitted for evaluation by EthicalMedTech (CVS) and if they deem it appropriate for it to be declared compliant with the MedTech Europe Code of Ethical Business and the EFPIA Code of Practice (EMT-25-07412), and that it complies with the principles of its Code of Ethical Business Practice, which ensure transparency in educational sponsorships and the scientific independence of the content.
- The European credits earned may, where applicable, be recognized or declared equivalent by the health services and competent bodies of the National Health System (SNS) , in accordance with current regulations and the procedures established by each autonomous community.
